Deer camp

What do you all do for deer camp? We use to have it at our house but a few years ago neighbor passed and we bought his land that adjoins our farm that had a nice hunting cabin on in. Pretty good set up for our crew.

Couple of nice 11 pointers taken off our place this weekend. lots of deer sighted and everybody had shots if they wanted to take them. Couple of misses. We'll see what this weekend brings.

I harvested a decent 11 point buck on opening morning of firearms season this year in NW MO- it was my first buck taken with a handgun (.44 Mag). The best part about it was that opening morning this year was also my 50th Birthday. :birthday:

Congrats on the deer and happy birthday. Our crew got two 11's and a 7. Good year for our farm. Every one saw a number of deer and some young bucks and does.
