Roscoe dog said he would bring a fryer and a boat. Everybody can bring what ever they want and we will just pot luck it like the hoedown. Post up what you think you will bring and like fish said it will happen. Some of us will prolly camp on the sandbar saturday night. At least that what me and DMR are planning. As far as the river goes fish can be the guide there. If it comes up at the last minute we could still do a land based deal.

So are you guys plannin on campin out Friday night or Sat. night? or both? What time should we all meet on Sat.? Is this going to be a "get there at the butt-crack o'dawn" kinduv thang, or a "just straggle in whenever" kinduv thang? Should we meet at the launch or up at the sand bar? What times lunch? Should we get a head and boat count and a list of items what folks is plannin on brangin?

hobie, I would say we meet around ten or eleven at the New Haven ramp. We can go upriver in a convoy and maybe set up camp on the sand bar then go jugging. It would be good for all to post if they are coming. DMR said he would be there and he'll be in my boat. Roscoe dog said he would come and fish and Mrs fish will be there. As far as camping on the bar that would be Saturday night. I guess we could wind up with maybe 5 or 6 boats and 10 or so attendees.

I am tentative, with a little bait snatcher (as opposed to snatch baiter) possibly tagging along, and Roscoe has offered me/us a seat in his boat if the invites still stands. Got to do a calendar check and see if the bait snatcher will be home or not.

I've seen several dates thrown out, but not sure I've read anything that SET the date. Is this thing the 5th, 12th or 19th.

ODF, it looks like the 19th is the date. roscoe in on vacation until next week so he can confirm the seat when he gets back. I know he wants to go and will fish.

Okay. So is it the 19th or the 12th that Roscoe is going to get the piss kicked out of him?

If it's the 19th, I'll probably pull a Snow-show. Bait snatcher comes back home that weekend, last weekend of state fair and last weekend before school starts. Too much chit already going on that weekend.

PS, roscoe is looking for you for the 19th. He is a fast mofo so be aware. ODF, bring the little guy along. He was much better company than alot of the regular jacklegs on here. Snake, if you do show I will ask roscoe to go easy on you.

Imageat PS. I want to see that and will bring a camera. fishin is not coming for family reasons so he will have to wait for his sack kicking. For real PS are you coming to this one or is this another wait until the last minute to say you aren't?

We already have a couple of things scheduled for that Friday and over the weekend...and with school starting on Monday, unfortunately I just don't see it happening. But I'll have to do some looking at the calendar and the bait snatcher may have to make some hard decisions...it's time he learned there ain't enough hours in the day for him to do everything he wants! I will give another "maybe"- it may have to work out as a one-day deal. I have my own jet boat so no problem there.
